The Second Player
The Second Player was my entry for Fam Jam 5, a week long game jam hosted by a couple of my game development friends. This particular game jam had two themes: "the second one" and "dead giveaway". I kept the scope small (1 level), because I didn't have all week to work on development.
My main goals for this game were:
- Explore color theory
- Have fun with the music composition
- Create a simple puzzle

Note about game jams:
Game jams are friendly competitions in the game development space where competing developers have a short timeframe to create a game from scratch (including art, sfx, music, level design, and all of the programming that glues it together). Typical game jam lengths are 48 hours, 72 hours, and 1 week.
The game jam environment is typically a friendly, helpful community, and they can be a great space for developers to generate new ideas or learn a new skill.
